Bring live GNSS signals into controlled indoor environments
The MZ101 receives live satellite navigation signals from an outdoor antenna and distributes them through a controlled indoor RF path. It provides adjustable system gain and multi-frequency monitoring for laboratories, production areas, maintenance facilities and other shielded or covered environments.
Preserve the live outdoor signal environment
MZ101 is designed for applications that need access to current BDS, GPS, GLONASS and Galileo signals without generating a synthetic navigation scenario. The system receives the available outdoor RF signals and re-radiates them inside the designated indoor coverage area.
Adjustable gain from 0 to 63 dB, configured in 1 dB steps, allows the distribution path to be balanced for antenna position, feeder loss and indoor signal requirements. Four signal frequencies can be monitored in the standard configuration, with monitoring expansion available for projects requiring broader frequency supervision.
The platform supports local system operation and RS232-based remote control. An optional 1PPS timing interface can be configured when the wider test or monitoring architecture requires an external timing reference.
Outdoor reception to indoor coverage
Final antenna selection, feeder length, gain allocation and indoor distribution depend on the building layout and the required signal level at the device under test.
Outdoor GNSS Antenna
Receives available BDS, GPS, GLONASS and Galileo navigation signals with direct sky visibility.
MZ101 Repeater
Conditions, monitors and amplifies the live GNSS RF signals with adjustable same-frequency gain.
Indoor Antenna
Re-radiates the conditioned navigation signals into the defined indoor test or working area.
Receiver or DUT
Acquires the live satellite signals indoors for functional, integration or maintenance workflows.
Core MZ101 platform functions
Frequency configuration and project accessories should be confirmed against the required constellations, facility layout and receiver test objective.
Multi-Constellation Reception
Supports live BDS, GPS, GLONASS and Galileo navigation-signal re-radiation for compatible indoor receivers.
Adjustable RF Gain
Provides 0–63 dB adjustable system gain in 1 dB steps for controlled RF-path configuration.
Signal Monitoring
Monitors four GNSS frequency points in the standard configuration, with expansion available for wider monitoring requirements.
Indoor Signal Coverage
Supports a reference indoor coverage distance of at least 50 metres when deployed under suitable site and antenna conditions.
Local and Remote Control
Supports local system management and RS232 communication for integration with remote operating workflows.
Optional Timing Interface
An optional 1PPS interface can be specified for projects that require an external timing reference.
Live GNSS coverage for indoor receiver workflows
MZ101 is intended for environments that require access to current satellite navigation signals but do not have reliable direct sky visibility. The final RF distribution architecture should be matched to the facility layout and receiver operating requirements.
University and Research Laboratories
Provide live multi-constellation navigation signals to indoor laboratories for receiver education, research, integration and functional verification.
Research & EducationProduction and Assembly Areas
Deliver live satellite signals to covered production environments for receiver acquisition checks, assembly verification and controlled production workflows.
Production TestingFinal Inspection and Acceptance
Support final functional checks of navigation receivers and integrated positioning equipment before shipment or system acceptance.
Final InspectionEnclosed Maintenance Facilities
Re-radiate live GNSS signals into hangars, workshops, equipment rooms and other enclosed spaces where satellite reception is weak or unavailable.

Coverage depends on site conditions
The ≥50 m figure is a reference value. Building attenuation, antenna placement, feeder loss and indoor RF isolation affect actual coverage.
Confirm required frequency monitoring
The standard system monitors four frequency points. Projects requiring broader monitoring should specify the optional 13-frequency configuration.
Controlled installation is required
Installation and operation must comply with applicable spectrum regulations, RF isolation requirements and facility safety procedures.
MZ101 selection and deployment questions
MZ101 configuration depends on the required navigation frequencies, facility layout, feeder loss, antenna isolation and indoor signal coverage objective.
01 Which GNSS signals does MZ101 support?
MZ101 supports BDS B1/B2/B3, GPS L1/L2/L5, GLONASS G1/G2 and Galileo E1/E5/E6 navigation frequencies. The required signal configuration should be confirmed before system delivery.
02 What is the difference between MZ101 and MZ101B?
MZ101 provides same-frequency GNSS re-radiation with standard four-frequency monitoring and a 3.37-inch display. MZ101B adds a full-frequency navigation receiver, monitoring of 13 GNSS frequency points and a larger touchscreen interface. MZ101B is better suited to projects requiring more extensive real-time signal monitoring.
03 Does the ≥50 m coverage value apply to every building?
No. The ≥50 m value is a reference coverage figure under suitable deployment conditions. Actual coverage depends on feeder loss, antenna gain, indoor antenna placement, wall attenuation, building geometry, RF isolation and the signal level required by the receiver.
04 How many navigation frequencies can MZ101 monitor?
The standard MZ101 configuration monitors four commonly used navigation frequency points. Monitoring can be upgraded to 13 frequency points when broader multi-constellation signal supervision is required.
05 Can MZ101 be controlled remotely?
Yes. MZ101 includes one RS232 communication interface for remote monitoring and gain adjustment. In remote mode, the integrated receiver can also provide position, time and satellite-status information for test reference and comparison.
06 What equipment is included in the standard configuration?
The standard configuration includes one MZ101 repeater, one receiving antenna, one transmitting antenna, a 30 m outdoor feeder cable and a 15 m indoor feeder cable. Final cable lengths and mounting accessories may be adjusted for the installation site.
07 Can MZ101 generate custom GNSS test scenarios?
No. MZ101 re-radiates the live outdoor GNSS signal environment and does not generate custom satellite trajectories, navigation messages or controlled interference scenarios. Use a GNSS signal simulator when controlled and repeatable scenario generation is required.
08 What information is needed before ordering MZ101?
Provide the required constellations and frequencies, indoor coverage dimensions, outdoor and indoor antenna locations, approximate feeder lengths, number of rooms or test zones and applicable RF-isolation or regulatory requirements.
