Product Overview

Portable field recording for repeatable GNSS receiver testing.

MZ302P captures real-world GNSS RF conditions through four independently configurable channels and replays the recorded signals as repeatable laboratory test inputs.

The recorder covers the 1.1–2.5 GHz RF range, including published navigation frequencies from BDS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. Each channel can be assigned its own center frequency, sampling configuration, and quantization setting according to the required recording scenario.

Recorded GNSS RF signals can be synchronized with RS232 digital data, supporting workflows where navigation signals and correction or positioning data must be preserved together. This makes MZ302P suitable for RTK field recording, route reproduction, receiver regression testing, and engineering troubleshooting.

Internal storage, battery operation, touchscreen control, Gigabit Ethernet file transfer, and remote recording support allow the system to operate both as a portable field recorder and as part of a network-connected laboratory workflow.

Choose MZ302P When

One antenna signal path is sufficient.

This is the more direct configuration for standard GNSS receiver validation, route recording, RTK testing, and portable field troubleshooting.

Choose MZ303P When

Two antenna signals must remain synchronized.

Use the dual-antenna configuration for positioning and heading systems, antenna-baseline testing, or other workflows that depend on two synchronized RF signal paths.

Configuration Notes

Define the recording plan before selecting the final configuration.

Frequency selection, sampling bandwidth, quantization depth, recording duration, storage capacity, and reference timing should be matched to the intended receiver test.

01

GNSS Frequency Selection

Confirm which BDS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, or QZSS frequencies must be recorded and replayed together.

02

Sampling Configuration

Select the sampling bandwidth and rate according to the target signal bandwidth and receiver validation objective.

03

Quantization Depth

Higher bit depth provides greater sample resolution but increases recording rate and storage consumption.

04

Storage Capacity

Estimate storage using the number of active channels, sampling settings, quantization depth, and required duration.

05

RF Input & Output Levels

Confirm antenna, cable, splitter, attenuator, and receiver interface levels before field recording or laboratory replay.

06

Reference Timing

Determine whether the setup uses the internal timing mechanism or an external 10 MHz reference and 1PPS workflow.

07

RS232 Data Recording

Confirm the serial data source, baud rate, message format, and required synchronization with the recorded RF signals.

08

Network Recording

For PC-side recording or playback, confirm network bandwidth, computer storage performance, and file workflow.

Frequently Asked Questions

MZ302P product FAQ.

Common questions about frequency coverage, RF channels, storage, RTK recording, timing, and the difference between MZ302P and MZ303P.

01 What does the MZ302P record and replay?

MZ302P records and replays selected satellite-navigation RF signals within the 1.1–2.5 GHz range. It can also record RS232 digital data in synchronization with the RF recording.

02 How many RF channels does MZ302P provide?

MZ302P provides four independently configurable wideband RF channels. Each channel can be assigned its own supported center frequency, sampling configuration, and quantization depth.

03 Can MZ302P record every GNSS frequency simultaneously?

The system uses four configurable RF channels. Simultaneous coverage depends on the selected frequencies, channel center frequencies, sampling bandwidths, and recording configuration. The required frequency plan should therefore be confirmed before quotation.

04 Can different RF channels use different sampling rates?

Yes. The four RF channels can operate with different supported sampling configurations while the recorder’s internal synchronization mechanism maintains the required timing relationship between the recorded channels.

05 Can MZ302P record RTK correction data?

MZ302P includes one RS232 interface and can record serial data up to 115200 baud together with the GNSS RF signals. This supports RTK workflows where RF and correction or positioning data must be preserved together.

06 How long can the MZ302P record?

Recording duration depends on the number of active RF channels, sampling bandwidth, sampling rate, quantization depth, and storage capacity. The standard configuration includes 2 TB of storage, with options up to 8 TB and support for PC-side network recording.

07 Does MZ302P support external reference timing?

Yes. MZ302P provides an external 10 MHz reference input, a 10 MHz output, and a configurable 1PPS output for integration with laboratory timing and synchronization systems.

08 What is the difference between MZ302P and MZ303P?

MZ302P is a single-antenna, four-channel recorder and replayer. MZ303P provides two synchronized antenna signal paths with a 4×2 RF channel architecture for dual-antenna positioning, heading, and antenna-comparison workflows.

09 Is MZ302P suitable for portable field recording?

Yes. MZ302P weighs less than 2.5 kg, includes a 7-inch touchscreen and internal battery, and provides more than eight hours of standby time. Actual operating duration depends on the active recording configuration.
