Capture Two RF Environments on One Recording Timeline

Dual-antenna GNSS systems do not evaluate only the signal received by each antenna. They also depend on the relationship between two signal paths during the same movement, obstruction and RF event.

The MZ303P provides two synchronized antenna paths, with four independently configurable RF channels available for each path. This allows engineers to capture concurrent GNSS signal conditions instead of repeating the same field route separately for each antenna.

Recorded RF and associated serial data can then be replayed in a controlled laboratory environment. The resulting workflow is designed for repeatable dual-antenna receiver testing, positioning analysis, heading verification and field-failure reproduction.

01

Two Antenna Paths

Capture two simultaneous RF inputs instead of recording each antenna independently in separate field sessions.

02

4 × 2 Channel Architecture

Configure four RF channels for each antenna path to cover the GNSS bands required by the receiver and test scenario.

03

Synchronized Replay

Replay the two recorded RF paths on a common timeline for controlled dual-antenna receiver and algorithm testing.

Parallel RF Paths with a Shared Recording Timeline

Each antenna path has its own four-channel configuration while the system maintains a common capture and replay timeline for both RF paths.

Configure Each RF Channel

Set the required frequency, sampling bandwidth, sampling rate and quantization for the selected recording plan.

Concurrent Acquisition

Record Both Antenna Paths Together

Preserve RF conditions observed by antenna A and antenna B during the same route, movement and environmental event.

Repeatable Validation

Replay the Paired Environment

Reproduce both recorded paths in the laboratory for receiver, positioning and navigation algorithm verification.

Synchronized does not automatically mean phase-coherent. If a project requires a specific inter-channel phase relationship, phase calibration or measurement accuracy, confirm the requirement with our engineering team before configuration.

Project confirmation: Final channel allocation, recording duration, storage capacity, antenna configuration and timing requirements should be confirmed against the intended test scenario before ordering.

Configuration Planning

Define the Recording Plan Before Field Deployment

Channel count, signal bandwidth, quantization, storage and timing requirements directly affect recording duration and test workflow. Confirm these items before selecting the final MZ303P configuration.

01

Antenna Arrangement

Define the antenna type, installation position, separation and cable arrangement used by the dual-antenna receiver under test.

02

Required GNSS Bands

Identify the BDS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo or QZSS signals required for each antenna path and channel configuration.

03

Sampling Configuration

Select bandwidth, sampling rate and quantization according to the required signal fidelity and the receiver validation objective.

04

Storage and Duration

Estimate route duration and data rate before choosing between the standard 2 TB storage and expanded capacity up to 8 TB.

05

RF Input Conditions

Confirm expected RF input levels, antenna power requirements, connectors and any external RF components in the recording path.

06

Replay Output Level

Define the required replay level and attenuation for both receiver inputs to avoid overload and reproduce the intended laboratory setup.

07

Timing and Serial Data

Confirm whether the test requires 10 MHz reference interfaces, 1PPS output or synchronized RS232 data collection.

08

Remote Workflow

Define whether the system will be controlled from the touchscreen, over Gigabit Ethernet or through a PC-side recording and replay workflow.

Standard Delivery
